Worth every penny, even if you don't know Hawaiian Woods, this is a well written, beautiful book.
Big, glossy photos of the work of some of the country's best woodworkers, using some of the most beautiful woods in the world. That should be reason enough to buy this book. The sections on woods, joinery, and the insights of the artists are all just icing on the cake. Even if you're not interested in Hawaii, or don't know or care about woodwork, anyone who appreciates fine art will find something to enjoy in this book.
This is an excellent book with great photography. I especially enjoyed the section on the various trees found in Hawaii.
